Bios

• Curtis L. Bock

  DVM

  Dr. Bock was raised on a farm in the Flint Hills, near Cottonwood Falls, Kansas. When he discovered that his round house curveball was not a ticket to the major leagues, he set his sights on a career in veterinary medicine. He graduated from Kansas State University CVM in 1974. After a year in mixed practice in Chillicothe, MO, he arrived at Welborn Animal Hospital, where he has practiced small animal medicine and surgery since. During the period of 1976 to 1990, he shared his small animal duties with a livestock market practice at the Kansas City Stockyards. Soft tissue surgery and internal medicine are what he enjoys most about practice. He and his wife have two grown children and two grandchildren. They share their home with two beautiful, but lazy, golden retrievers. He also likes to travel, read, study history, and follow K-State athletics.

  DVM

  Received B.S. degree in Animal Science in 1980, and Graduated Kansas State University as DVM in 1984.

• Marcia Chastain

  DVM

  Dr. Chastain received her BS and DVM degrees from Auburn University in 1995.

• Jason Waltsak

  DVM

  Dr. Waltsak grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. He graduated from Kansas State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Life Science. He also received his Veterinary degree at Kansas State University's College of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated in 2007. He joined VCA Welborn Animal Hospital in March of 2011.
